​Welcome to the Venice Doc Film Club’s April meetup!

Join us for a special event this month, featuring a work-in-progress film screening paired with a mentor-led feedback session.

​Mastering the art of giving and receiving feedback is integral to storytelling, and this gathering presents a unique opportunity dive into this process. Our aim is to offer valuable insights for members to learn how to refine their own feedback skillset, all while immersing ourselves in a captivating narrative.

The showcased film follows two musicians as they preform on a 23 stop nationwide tour. One is a seasoned musician mentoring his friend and opening act through his first time preforming, while dealing with the realities of leaving his young family at home.

​Our agenda comprises a 30-minute screening, followed by a 30-minute feedback session led by industry mentors, and culminates in a 30-minute Q&A segment, encouraging active participation and the exchange of insights among club members.

The Venice Documentary Film Club hopes to build a vibrant community of industry professionals and cinephiles committed to nurturing and expanding the documentary film landscape in Los Angeles.
