Following our Career Guidance Outreach at Government Day Secondary School, Sabon Kaura, we're bringing the circle together again to reflect on our experience, draw lessons, and plan our next steps.
This meetup will provide an opportunity to review the outreach, celebrate the successes recorded, identify areas for improvement, and explore how we can build a more structured approach to delivering career guidance in secondary schools.
We'll also take a deeper look at 'School No Be Scam', our proposed initiative to help students make informed decisions about their education, career paths, and future opportunities, and begin shaping a practical approach to its implementation.
Here's what to expect:
Review the Career Outreach: Evaluate the outcomes, successes, and challenges from our first school outreach.
Lessons and Improvements: Identify what we can do better and how to standardize the outreach for replication in other schools.
Develop School No Be Scam: Discuss the initiative's direction, delivery model, and practical steps towards implementation.
Determine Our Next Move: Consider a follow-up visit, extending the outreach to another school, or prioritizing another community issue.
Revisit Other Community Priorities: Explore previously identified challenges and develop actionable plans to address them.
