​Alida is a transdisciplinary artist, dancer, & designer connecting our experience within the body to our expression of the body. Alida’s creative practice explores gender fluidity & nonconformity. Movement is at the core of their process, inspiring and creating intention for the transformable garments they design. Their perspective stems from their upbringing in Bermuda and their connection to ancestral land and ocean ecosystems. The movement of bodies & weaving of threads across African & Caribbean diasporas are central to their art as a healing practice.

​BODY ART is the spiritual homunculus of Interpretive Sound & Djem aka Geo & Gem. Floating around the city through Full Spectrum motions, they’ve been bringing people together through music, space, fabrics, movement & full sensory feng shui. Whether it’s azz2azz in the booth 🎛 or transforming a room with endless layers hanging from the ceiling 🪡🕯🫧, they know how to shift the atmosphere into something alive.
