🌈 collectively read excerpts from Emergent Strategies by Adrienne Marie Brown, centered on “the ways for humans practice being in right relationship to our home and to each other, to practice complexity, and grow a compelling future together through relatively simple interactions. Emergent strategy is how we intentionally change in ways that grow our capacity to embody the just and liberated worlds we long for”
🌈 engage with curated writing prompts and group discussion on centering agency and resilience as we navigate this political climate, especially as queer identifying people
Through group discussion on the impact of identity and intersectionality on these topics, our hope is to quell the community’s feelings of disparity and loss at this current time. We want to highlight how we can center the values of anti-racism, anti-capitalism and the dismantling of white supremacy through our relationship with ourselves, each other and society at large.
