About Event

Syntheia Speaks is an intentional gathering space for Black excellence at its most whole. Our February convening, We Become Together: Community, Ambition, Belonging, centers the lived experiences, wisdom, and pathways of Black professionals across education, engineering, tech, and entrepreneurship.

This panel brings together voices whose lives demonstrate that ambition is not a single pace, a single field, or a single narrative but a collective ecosystem of possibility. We will explore how Black professionals carve room for themselves in high-impact roles while honoring the old recipes of community, kinship, and self-preservation that keep us grounded.

Together, we’ll reflect on identity, performance, joy, resistance, and boundaries. We’ll speak about how each of you has held onto your voice in institutions that often extract without replenishing. We’ll look at the ways Black community sustains aspiration, and what it means to belong to a lineage of people who make new futures possible simply by being fully, freely themselves.
