Acing Tough Conversations: A Manager/Leader's View
About Perspectives
In a world of fast replies and fleeting interactions, we’re creating a safe space for meaningful conversations with curious individuals.
About Triangles
Triangles are a Perspectives format designed for guided learning. Unlike Circles, where everyone shares equally, Triangles are led by an expert who anchors the conversation with stories, insights, and lived experience, while the group engages through questions and reflections.
About this Triangle
Let’s be honest- few things make even seasoned leaders uneasy like tough conversations. Whether it’s a performance talk, a conflict with a peer, or saying “no” when expectations don’t align- it’s easy to delay, sugarcoat, or avoid them altogether. But these conversations are where real leadership shows up.
This Perspectives Triangle is designed for managers and leaders who want to handle difficult conversations with clarity and empathy. It’s about learning to stay calm when things get emotional, framing your message so it’s heard (not resisted), and listening in a way that builds trust, not tension.
Through stories, reflections, and real-world scenarios, Puneet will help you see these moments not as minefields- but as opportunities for alignment, respect, and growth.
What this workshop will help you do:
Identify why certain conversations feel difficult and how to prepare for them.
Stay calm, clear, and respectful- even when emotions run high.
Frame what you need to say so it’s heard, not resisted.
Use simple language structures to express needs, boundaries, and concerns.
Listen in a way that builds understanding rather than defensiveness.
Move the conversation toward resolution, next steps, and commitment.
What you’ll leave with:
A practical conversation framework you can use immediately.
Real methods and approaches you can adapt to your own situations.
Increased confidence in stepping into -not away from- important dialogue.
