​Our Journey Together

​Scenic Travel & Morning Chats

​We will meet at Budapest Kelenföld to catch our 8:00 AM train together, arriving to Balatonfüred in just 2 hours, where we will hop on a beautiful ferry for a scenic boat ride across Lake Balaton straight to Tihany.

​Tihany Village & Abbey Views

​We’ll take a walk through the charming, historic streets of Tihany Village, soaking in the panoramic views of Lake Balaton from the famous Benedictine Abbey viewpoint and tasting our first lavender ice cream of the day.

​Lunch & Time Travel

​We have reserved a table for our group at a very special restaurant right on Tihany’s main promenade. Stepping into their courtyard is like traveling back in time to our grandparents' era! The restaurant feels like a living museum, serving traditional food made from old recipes. It’s the perfect place to escape the rush of everyday life and even try their famous lavender beer or lavender lemonade.

​Pick-It-Yourself Lavender

​Our next stop will lead us into the fragrant fields of the Balaton-felvidéki National Park, where you’ll receive a harvest bag to pick your own bundle of fresh lavender. We’ll also have the option to see the traditional lavender distillation process and purchase authentic local oils.

​Connection Circle & Picnic

​We'll spend enough time here to lay down our blankets in the lavender fields for a small grounding picnic and, of course, take beautiful, Instagram-worthy photos in the purple fields.

​Sensory Lavender Experience

​After picking our own flowers, we will visit the Lavender Tihany Visitor Center for an exclusive program to see what actually happens after the harvest. We’ll be greeted with a lavender welcome drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), followed by a guided tour in English, a lavender cosmetics test, and a delicious culinary tasting of lavender sweets.

​Late Afternoon Return

​After such a beautiful day, we will take the train back to Budapest together, returning with fresh lavender, a full stomach, a peaceful mind and genuine new friendships.

​Spaces are strictly limited to ensure an intimate atmosphere and deep connections. Since we are traveling during the peak festival weekend, we are securing all travel and program arrangements well in advance.

​Flexible Booking & Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens! To give you peace of mind while allowing us to secure group arrangements during the peak festival season, we offer the following refund tiers:

• ​Until June 10: 80% refund (20% retained as an administration fee).

• ​June 11 – June 19: 50% refund (to cover pre-purchased transport and reservations).

• ​After June 19: Non-refundable.

​We are starting bright and early to beat the heat, and we will return to Budapest around 10:30 PM. However, our day is designed for slow living with plenty of time spent sitting on the train, relaxing on the ferry, enjoying a 2-hour lunch and lounging in the lavender fields.
