ZK Meetup #1: ZK & Post Quantum Study Group Lightning Talk Gathering
ZK Taipei #4: ZK & Post-Quantum Study Group Lightning Talk Gathering
Join us for a series of 15 mins lightning talks summarizing the research conducted in our respective study groups.
1. "A Gentle Introduction to the Development of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) + FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption)" by Ben Tseng
2. "PQC Proving System/Commitment Scheme" by Moven
3. "LazyTower" by LCamel
Doors open at 18:30. The first talk by Ben Tseng begins at 19:00, followed by Moven at 19:30, and LCamel at 20:00. Post-event, attendees may opt for a social gathering involving food and drinks.
### A Gentle Introduction to the Development of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) + FHE
Abstract: This talk offers an accessible overview of the evolution of Post-Quantum Cryptography and its significance in our digital era. Time permitting, we'll explore Fully Homomorphic Encryption and its potential impact.
Bio: Ben Tseng, an undergraduate at NTU CSIE and participant in the Ethereum Foundation's PSE Summer ZK Contribution Program.
### Introduction to Lattice-Based ZKP
Abstract: Lattice-based proving systems present a solid alternative for data integrity and privacy in the face of quantum threats. This talk provides a high-level perspective on lattice-based proving systems, comparing their performance with mainstream systems.
Bio: Moven, an undergraduate in NTU ECON/CSIE and participant in the Ethereum Foundation's PSE Summer ZK Contribution Program.
### LazyTower
Abstract: The Incremental Merkle Tree is a widely-used on-chain vector commitment scheme. Its O(log N) gas cost, however, limits its feasibility in cost-sensitive scenarios. Is an O(1) alternative possible?
Bio: LCamel, author of LazyTower and recipient of an ESP grant for this open-source project.
