Idealists of Australia 5/5
Hi everyone,
You are all welcome to celebrate the Idealist Day on 5/5 with us! Inspired by all virtual gatherings around the globe, we will hold ours to share stories of kindness and plan ahead for 6/6.
Agenda for the hour:
First half ~30 minutes:
- Welcome and a few volunteers to share short recent stories of kindness. Were you kind to someone, or was someone kind to you? These can be as simple as active listening, picking up rubbish in a park, or supporting a local cause.
- How did these stories inspire us to do something differently, or more of, or less of, in the future?
Second half ~30 minutes:
- Brainstorm what we can do virtually on 6/6. What topics are we good at that the group is interested in and can be presented in 15 minutes? The topic needs to align with “doing one small thing to make our corner of the world a little better”
- Select topic, presenter and wrap up.
