Description

Nutrition & Training for Women’s Health

On November 4th at Equals Amsterdam, join triathlete, author, and coach Eleonora Campagnoli for an empowering session on female health, nutrition, and sport.

Drawing from her book “Nutrizione e sport con il diabete” and her personal experience as an athlete and scientist, Eleonora will explore how the menstrual cycle and hormonal fluctuations impact women’s energy, strength, mood, and performance.

This event will:

Explain the science of estrogen and progesterone and how they shape metabolism, recovery, and training response.

Provide practical training examples: when to push for endurance or strength, and when to focus on mobility, yoga, and recovery.

Share nutrition strategies and recipes to fuel each cycle phase — from iron-rich meals during menstruation to carb-loading in the follicular phase and protein-rich, anti-inflammatory recipes for the luteal phase.

Encourage open conversation about female physiology, breaking the silence around topics too often ignored in sport and health.

You’ll leave with science-based insights and practical tools to eat, train, and recover in harmony with your cycle — turning what is often seen as a limitation into a source of power.

✨ Tone of voice: inspiring, science-backed, relatable, and actionable.

📌 Perfect for: women athletes, active professionals, or anyone curious about understanding and supporting their body through the cycle.

Why should you join?

Real Data, Real Life

Eleonora shares her personal experience of training and eating while wearing a continuous glucose monitor, turning science into practical, real-life examples you can relate to.

The Woman & The Scientist

As both a female athlete and a biotechnology scientist, Eleonora bridges personal experience with solid research, making complex hormonal and nutritional topics accessible and trustworthy.

Interactive & Inclusive

Not just a talk — this event is a debate with space for your questions. You’ll leave with personalized insights, recipes, and training strategies you can directly apply in your own life.
