Solarpunk Online GenJam (Vol 02)
One question: what does a future worth living in actually look like?
Solarpunk is the rare genre that refuses collapse. No chrome dystopias. No ash skies. No last human standing.
Instead: solar sails and art nouveau ironwork, cities that thrive alongside plant life, technology that grows instead of extracts. Think the wind valleys of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and the overgrown ruins of Castle in the Sky. Think Dear Alice, the four minute animated short that gave the aesthetic its clearest visual grammar. WALL-E, Black Panther, The Dispossessed, Horizon Zero Dawn, and more.
Your job is to add to that canon. Teams get four hours to write, generate, and edit a solarpunk short from scratch.

🔁 Why This One Is Different
This is the second Solarpunk GenJam, and it is now a series.
You do not have to start cold. Bring back a world you built in Volume 1 and make the version you wished you had time for. Or take one idea and build it across episodes, so each jam adds a chapter instead of a standalone. Or it's an anthology with a similar theme or aesthetic. Up to you.
New teams are welcome. You are not behind. You are just starting your first chapter.
Every film joins a growing archive. The series has its own bracket and its own body of work, and it gets better the more people return to it.
