2026 June Holiday Programmes | Thought Leaders

Target Level: Secondary 1–4
Date: 1 – 3 June 2026 (Mon - Wed)
Time: 9am – 1pm
Available at: MS Novena

This June holiday, give your child the confidence to speak up, express ideas clearly and grow in presence through a holiday programme designed to help every student find their voice! At Master Speakers Academy, each class is designed for mixed levels, with many students joining for the first time and others returning ready for greater challenges. Our experienced speech and drama coaches create a warm, structured and encouraging environment so every child can participate, improve and enjoy the journey.

"Thought Leaders" Programme Focus
In Thought Leaders, students are introduced to idea-based speaking inspired by the TED tradition of “ideas worth spreading”: clear messages, authentic delivery, and real impact.

Across the programme, they develop a short talk from concept to final delivery, learning how to refine an idea, structure a compelling message, and speak with presence and confidence on stage.

Along the way, students strengthen their critical thinking, vocabulary, and personal voice as they explore topics that matter to them and share these ideas in a purposeful, age-appropriate way.

What your child will learn:
● Develop a meaningful idea into a clear, well-shaped short talk
● Structure a speech with a strong core message and relevant supporting examples
● Deliver with greater poise, clarity, and connection to the audience

Daily Highlights

Day 1 - Build
● Warm-up and low-pressure speaking games to build rapport.
● Introduce “ideas that matter”; students brainstorm topics from their lives and choose one to explore, then share a 1-minute rough idea.

Day 2 - Develop
● Teach a simple talk structure: hook, story or example, key message, takeaway.
● Students draft a 3–4 minute talk using a guided template and rehearse in small groups with focused feedback.

Day 3 - Showcase
● Final edits and targeted coaching on delivery (voice, posture, eye contact).
● “Thought Leaders Forum” where each student presents to an audience, followed by a short reflection on strengths and next steps.
