What would make you come downtown? A Challenger Cities x Downtown Denver Partnership Salon
You don’t need to be a planner to have an opinion about downtown Denver. You just need to have been there, or maybe you have reasons you avoid it.
On Thursday, November 5th, the Downtown Denver Partnership, along with Challenger Cities will host an evening for anyone who wants a say in what Downtown Denver could become. We’ll be talking about what makes a city fun,.. a place for kids on a Saturday, somewhere to take friends on a Tuesday and that curious little event you end up telling people about for weeks.
Earlier that day a group of downtown folks will have been throwing ideas around. Some ideas will be good; others will need improvement, and there’ll be plenty nobody has thought of yet.
Come with an open mind, an idea, maybe bring a friend and your curiosity. Artists, parents, bartenders, office workers, students, retirees, people who moved here last year and people who’ve been here all their lives. It’s a conversation, not a presentation, with food, drinks and good company.
