About Event

Join Work Like A Girl and Equipt Women for this conversation. Most career advice starts with what you should fix about yourself. This conversation starts somewhere else.

Work Like a Girl surveyed its community on what women want from work right now, and Equipt Women helped us dig into the data. What came out is pretty clear: women are ambitious, they want to be paid for it, and the things standing in the way are mostly organizational, not personal.

Join us for a live, moderated conversation with the founders and coaches who work with these women every day. We'll walk through the headline findings, talk about what they mean in practice, and leave plenty of time for your questions.

What we'll dig into

  • Show me the money. Compensation is the #1 thing women say they care about at work (64%). Why does wanting more still get read as greed, and how do you actually ask for it?

  • The workplace isn't working for you. Unclear promotion criteria, no time to upskill, no manager in your corner. What to do when the barrier is the system and not you.

  • No one rises alone. Almost a quarter of the WLAG members we surveyed joined because they felt alone at work. What building community on purpose looks like.

You'll leave with

  • The headline findings from our survey

  • One concrete move on pay, one on your path to promotion, and one on your professional community that you can make this week

  • A direct line to two communities built for women who want more

Who it's for
Women who are ambitious, tired of being told to just work harder, and ready for straight talk and next steps. Members and non-members both welcome.
