TMC IdeaLab | Leading for Innovation
Innovation is widely prioritized—but far less consistently practiced. Many organizations invest heavily in tools, labs, and processes, yet struggle to create the leadership behaviors and conditions that actually enable innovation to emerge and scale.
What We’ll Explore Together
For In-house Talent Management practitioners, in this Idea Lab, TMC members will explore what it means to lead for innovation in practical, everyday ways. We’ll examine how leaders shape risk-taking, learning, and experimentation through their decisions and routines, where innovation efforts most often stall, and how leadership behavior either accelerates or unintentionally constrains progress.
What to Expect from a TMC IdeaLab
Light framing to set the context (no long presentations)
Majority of the time spent in high-trust discussion with peers
Space to pressure-test ideas, assumptions, and use cases
Walk away with insights and next-step considerations shaped by the collective experience in the room
This session is open to invited guests. TMC members are welcome to extend an invitation to a peer who would benefit from the conversation.
