FOAK Collaboration

​For those of us already working on climate, it’s clear that we need to work together. What got us here won’t get us there - we won't make progress with the systems and structures we already  have in place. Meeting this moment means finding ways of working with organizations and people that we haven't collaborated with before. Being able to do that successfully is imperative for all kinds of organizations, from startups to utilities to banks to mining companies. I’m calling this FOAK Collaboration.

​In this session, we’ll dig into what makes cross-functional and cross-industry collaboration difficult, and the nuts and bolts of working successfully with organizations very different from your own. 

​Panelists Cyd Golson (CPUC, DER engineer), Dolly Singh (Terra Talent, ex-SpaceX and Oculus) and Julia Bunte-Mein (WattCarbon, ex-Meta) will share their insights, and we’ll lead you in some activities to help get you moving in the right direction.
