Breakfast Sept 8: Mexico, Texas & the New North American Region
Join the Texas Exes Mexico City Chapter on Tuesday, September 8 for our monthly Longhorn Breakfast with Mauricio Jaramillo Reyes, President of the Mexico Chapter and Secretary of the Board of the Texas European Chamber of Commerce - Capítulo México (TECC México).
The relationship between Mexico and Texas sits at the center of one of the world's most important economic corridors. At the same time, the geopolitical environment surrounding the review or potential renegotiation of the T-MEC, together with changes in global supply chains, technology and investment, is reshaping how companies think about North America and its relationship with Europe.
Mauricio works directly at this intersection. Through the Texas-European Chamber of Commerce and his work in international investment and trade, he connects companies, institutions and decision-makers across Mexico, Texas and Europe, with a particular focus on manufacturing, foreign investment, nearshoring and smartshoring, technology, semiconductors and international competitiveness.
Over breakfast, we will explore how the T-MEC discussion and the broader geopolitical environment could reshape the North American region, what new industries may define its next stage, and what these changes mean for Mexico and Texas, including where new opportunities may emerge for companies and professionals on both sides of the border.
As always, the conversation will also be an opportunity to reconnect with fellow Longhorns, meet new members of our community and expand the relationships between Mexico and Texas.
Texas Exes, friends and guests are welcome.
