✨ North Star Networking Night
Resilient by Design 🧭✨
Join us for the 4th edition of Omek’s North Star Networking Night, a day designed for diverse leaders, advocates and community builders to learn strategies, share experiences, and connect.
This year, we focus on resilience, for the leaders, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and for the people who contribute to them. As evolving DEI policies and AI-driven changes reshape recruitment, career opportunities and company strategy, we look at how ERGs stay sustainable while helping their leaders and members advance their own careers.
What to expect—a refreshed format:
Interactive conversations: Engage in guided group conversations to share ideas, identify challenges, and discuss ways to adapt and thrive in a changing landscape.
Facilitated Networking: Connect in small groups with like-minded professionals to share experience, tips and expand your support network.
Skills workshops led by special guests:
Rislene Moustapha, Co-chair, BEN&Friends (Nike), who will reflect on her experience co-chairing the Black Employee Network (BEN) at Nike all while navigating her own career advancement. She'll also share the strategies behind strong leadership transitions and long-term continuity for the ERG.
Raymond Comvalius, Independent IT Architect, who will explore how technology can be leveraged by ERGs and their members to strengthen their initiatives and increase their influence within their organizations.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your leadership, advance your career, or strengthen your community and its impact, North Star Networking Night is the space to learn, empower each other and grow.
Who is this event for
Bicultural professionals who are building, leading, or are simply members of ERGs (of any type: Black, Latin, Asian, LGBTQ+, Women’s, etc.).
Professionals who are, or want to become, an advocate, ally or sponsor to bicultural talent and ERGs.
Bicultural professionals, independents and creatives who aren't part of ERGs but seek to connect with like-minded professionals and learn about ERGs and career advancement in the corporate space.
Want to bring someone who champions your growth, or could? We've got something to help you! Check out our invitation letter template, make it yours, and send it to whoever needs to be in the room with you.

About The Jollof Club
The Jollof Club is a food concept that honours heritage while cooking forward. Created by Nicolas Aquaa and Bunmi Okolosi, the platform celebrates West African food, culture, hospitality and the communities connected to it.
Resilience is part of The Jollof Club’s story. After years of pop-ups, collaborations, events and evolving the concept, they are now opening their permanent home in Amsterdam Bijlmer.
Their ambition is to build something much bigger than a restaurant: a recognisable cultural and hospitality platform rooted in West Africa but connected internationally.
