Friday Night (y)In + Sound ✨

Friday night in… but make it cosy.

>> Click here to purchase 4-Class Pack at £88<<

What if your Friday night didn’t need to involve getting dressed up, battling through town, spending £££ on drinks or waking up the next morning wondering where the night went? 😂

Instead…

Fairy lights. Soft music. Yin yoga. Crystal bowls. Herbal tea. A little reflection. And a room full of lovely people.

Welcome to Friday Night (y)In + Sound — our cosy take on a Friday night in.

A chance to press pause at the end of the week, settle into your body and spend 75 minutes moving slowly, breathing deeply and letting yourself be held by the sound of crystal bowls.

We’ll open the doors early so you can arrive, pour yourself a cup of herbal tea and ease into the evening without rushing straight onto your mat.

And afterwards, if you’d like to stay a little longer, there’ll be space to linger, chat, reflect and connect.

No rushing home.
No pressure to socialise.
No need to make plans afterwards.

Just a cosy Friday evening to yourself. ✨

🌙 What to expect

7:30pm — Arrive, have a cuppa and settle in

We’ll have herbal tea ready when you arrive, with time to say hello, get comfortable and find your place before the practice begins.

7:45–9:00pm — Yin yoga + sound

We’ll begin with 40 minutes of Yin yoga, followed by 20 minutes of Nidra and Savasana, led by Katrina, with the beautiful sounds of Finola’s crystal bowls woven throughout the practice.

Yin is slow, quiet and mostly floor-based, with longer-held poses designed to give you time to soften, breathe and simply be.

Come exactly as you are, after whatever kind of week you’ve had.

We’ll finish with a card pull and a little moment of reflection, giving you space to take whatever you need from the evening.

9:00–9:15pm — Stay a little longer, if you fancy

Once the practice has finished, you’re welcome to linger under the fairy lights, chat with someone new or simply enjoy a few more quiet moments before heading home.

✨ This is your Friday night in if…

You’d rather:

✨ Swap the pub for a yoga mat
✨ Swap loud music for crystal bowls
✨ Swap rushing around for slowing right down
✨ Spend your evening somewhere cosy and welcoming
✨ Meet some lovely people without the pressure of “networking”
✨ Have a proper exhale after a busy week
✨ Do something that feels good without needing to achieve anything

Basically…

Friday night out? Maybe next week. 😂

🧺 What to bring

As we’re in the Village Hall and don’t have storage for equipment, you’ll need to bring your own:

🧘‍♀️ Yoga mat
🧣 Blanket
🛏️ Pillow or cushion
🧘‍♀️ Any other yoga props you’d like to use

Think cosy.

Bring socks. Bring layers. Bring the comfiest blanket you own.

You want to be warm and comfortable while you’re lying still, so don’t be afraid to overpack the cosy stuff.

We’ll provide the herbal tea, but please bring your own travel mug or cup.

🤍 A little note about Yin

Yin can be very still, with poses held for longer than in a typical yoga class.

We’ll always encourage you to listen to your own body and make yourself comfortable, with options offered throughout.

If you’re completely new to Yin, don’t worry — we’ll guide you through everything.

🌻 About your hosts

Katrina — Slow Social Society

I’m Katrina, founder of Slow Social Society.

I’ve been holding spaces through yoga, coaching and community experiences since 2018, with a background in NLP, EFT/tapping and nervous system-based practices.

Everything I host is designed to feel grounding, welcoming and human — a chance to slow down, connect and enjoy being exactly where you are.

Finola — Sage Sound Therapy

I’m Finola, a sound healing practitioner and founder of Sage Sound Therapy. I’m passionate about using crystal singing bowls to invite calm, connection and a deeper sense of rest.

Each bowl corresponds to a chakra, or energy centre, and creates its own unique sound and vibration. The experience is an invitation to pause, listen and notice what you feel — whether that’s a sense of calm, a quieter mind or simply a lovely opportunity to lie down and do absolutely nothing for a while.
