What’s Actually Happening: Birth & First Days
A clear, grounded, and intensive 4-hour class that walks you through what’s happening in your body and your baby during birth and the early postpartum period, and what to do with that information in real life.
Most prenatal classes focus on what to do, breathing techniques, positions, or ideal birth plans.
This class focuses on what’s actually happening.
What’s happening in your body as you approach labor and as it progresses.
What your baby is doing during birth.
What different birth pathways can look like, vaginal, medicated, or C-section.
What the first moments after birth are really like for both of you.
And what the early hours, days, and first weeks postpartum actually feel like, not just what’s expected on paper.
You’ll also learn what to do with that understanding — how to support your body and your baby, what decisions may come up, and what kind of support you might need around you during this time.
This is not a deep-dive course or technique-based training.
It’s a clear, real-world, and intensive understanding of the experience, so you’re not caught off guard, second-guessing, or overwhelmed.
You’ll leave feeling informed, grounded, and more confident walking into birth and early postpartum, knowing what’s happening, what’s normal, and how to respond in a way that feels right for you.
Know what’s happening, and what to do with it.
