About Event

A Place at the Table is a lunch and facilitated conversation series for women in transition. Women who are shedding old roles, questioning expectations, and returning to themselves in community.

Through shared food, reflection, and honest conversation, we create space to explore who you are beyond the roles you’ve carried, and who you are becoming.

This seasonal series is hosted by women’s leadership coach Sadia Ghazanfar, founder of Slay Your Dragons, in collaboration with Alice Martinelli, an experienced cook and former recipe developer at The Spicery. Bringing together nourishment, thoughtful facilitation, and meaningful connection.

The theme for our 21 March gathering is: The Stories We Carry.

3 Course Menu

Menu Note

This gathering features a fixed, seasonal menu prepared by Alice.

Please note: this particular menu includes dairy, nuts, and gluten and is therefore not suitable for dairy-free, nut-free, or gluten-free dietary requirements.

There will be options for both vegetarians and meat eaters; however, the menu is not vegan.

Future gatherings may offer different menus with broader dietary flexibility.

All profits will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians.

Participation Agreement

A Place at the Table is an intimate, facilitated gathering held in my private home. By joining, you agree to contribute to a space that is confidential, respectful, and free from advice-giving or debate. We come together to listen deeply, speak honestly, and allow each woman to share without interruption, fixing, or persuasion. What is shared at the table stays at the table.
