About Event

Fancy hearing how a startup actually gets built, scaled, and occasionally wrestled into shape?

UQIES is teaming up with Go1 and JanCap to host a fireside chat with Chris Eigeland, and we're pretty excited about it. Chris has a front-row seat to the worlds of startups, venture capital, and entrepreneurship, so expect honest stories about what it takes to turn an ambitious idea into something real, plus the bumps, surprises, and big wins along the way.

Whether you're dreaming up your first venture, curious about how VC works, or just want to see what the startup scene is all about, come along, grab a seat, and bring your questions. There will be plenty of time to chat and meet other students and industry folks too.

We'll be in Room 206 of the Steele Building (3) at UQ St Lucia on Friday, 13 November. Come ready for candid conversation and a good time. See you there! 🚀
