From China-Originated Biotech Assets to U.S. Partnerships
A Private Venture Signal Breakfast Conversation
Wednesday, September 30, 2026 | 8:00–10:00 AM
Boston, Massachusetts
The exact address will be provided to approved participants.
This private working breakfast is designed for biotech companies that own or control promising preclinical or clinical assets and are actively exploring U.S. investment, licensing, pharmaceutical partnerships, or cross-border development.
This is not a general educational seminar. Priority will be given to founders, executives, scientific leaders, and business-development professionals who can discuss a specific asset, its current stage, and a defined partnering or readiness need.
Virtual participation: A limited number of approved virtual places are available for asset owners and company representatives outside the Boston area, including participants joining from China. The virtual portion will begin at 8:30 AM ET / 8:30 PM China Standard Time. This is an interactive working conversation rather than a public webinar; virtual participants should be prepared to introduce themselves and, if selected, briefly describe their asset and current partnering need.
What We Will Examine
The conversation will help participating companies consider four connected questions:
Investment readiness: Is the asset presented as a focused, differentiated, and investable opportunity?
Evidence readiness: Are the scientific, preclinical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial materials coherent, traceable, and easy to evaluate?
Legal readiness: Are IP ownership, confidentiality, corporate, contractual, and cross-border matters ready for diligence?
Pharma engagement: Is the company approaching appropriate contacts with a clear clinical and competitive proposition and materials that can circulate internally?
The final segment will invite selected participants to briefly share a nonconfidential description of their asset, current partnering objective, and most important readiness or engagement need. The goal is to identify where further evaluation or collaboration may be useful.
