

Social Impact Organization Design Course (NYC)
Social Impact Organization Design is a unique practice of operationalizing strategy. It involves the alignment of impact goals to organization structure, processes, governance, metrics, and talent.
In this hands-on, two-day, in-person course, we'll cover the basic frameworks and new methodologies for Social Impact Organization Design, practice on our own or organizations (or our client systems), and apply our learnings to real issues in the Social Impact space now.
Target Audience: Social Impact leaders and consultants to Social Impact organizations!
Why Now: Social Impact organizations are going through rapid changes, driven a lot by external factors. Aligning the internal to the external is key.

- Operationalizing strategy
- Designing for organizational capabilities
- Managing organizational tensions
- Why vertical structure is leverage for your mission
- How to integrate across silos
- The tricks of scaling (up or down)
- How to design for collaboration, including strategic partnerships.
