Join us for an evening of great food, conversations, and a friendly, low-stakes game of poker in Silicon Valley!
Special Guest - Lawrence Coburn, Co-Founder and CEO of Ambient.
In addition to being a Startup Haven portfolio CEO and member of our Bay Area chapter, Lawrence is a true startup OG. He's a serial, exited founder with all the humility, wisdom and tenacity that you would expect from a founder who's lived the journey he has.
Lawrence has founded four venture-backed companies, including DoubleDutch, the market leader for mobile event applications, which was the third fastest growing b2b company of its era (after Slack and Zenefits), raised $90M, and sold to Cvent in 2019. His current company is Ambient, an AI Assistant designed to help fast moving teams drop fewer balls.

Founders Dinner and Startup Poker 2.0 have been running continuously for more than 18 years. If you are new to the Startup Haven network, you should know that this is a fun, very-low-stakes poker game and that we embrace diversity, open conversations, and learning. Playing in the poker game is not required; but it is a ton of fun and you might just win some cash and/or a cool sponsor prize!
If you're new to these events, please familiarize yourself with the details by reviewing the Startup Haven Event Basics web page and make sure to bring cash. Beginner poker players are encouraged to attend! This is a nice, friendly game of low stakes poker and the first buy-in starts at just $10. If you don't want to play poker, that's fine, too -- just come for dinner and conversations!

Just a reminder that, in the event that more than 40 attendees want to play poker, /Level 2 members will be settled first and then we will cut cards for the remaining seats.
