Liquid Bloom is the visionary world-electronic project of Amani Friend, co-founder of Desert Dwellers and curator of the Desert Trax label. Emerging in the late 1990s from explorations in music for healing modalities, Liquid Bloom has since evolved into a globally celebrated fusion of world instrumentation, transcendent vocals, and modern electronic production. The project has appeared on festival stages around the world including Boom, Ozora, Envision, Rainbow Serpent, Dreamersland, and Colours of Ostrava. Moving seamlessly between deep ambient journeys, downtempo grooves, and ecstatic dancefloor experiences, Liquid Bloom performances invite audiences into an immersive shared experience where ancient traditions and modern sound design meet in rhythm, movement, and collective resonance.

Microforest is our annual event rooted in permaculture, community, and music. It marks the weekend in September we began developing Mala o ka Pono 6 years ago working to bring this dream into reality. Join us in the forest as we enter our 7th year of development and celebrate the coming equinox. Lovingly curated by a Maui-grown, kanaka maoli (indigenous Hawaiian) mother and her family.
An ambrosia of Maui's talented movers, shakers and artists are showcased throughout the entire event featuring:
Fire flow arts, live painting, community workshops, craft/food vendors, farm to table food/drink and gong fu tea service.
We encourage all expressions of creativity and character. Our venue is your canvas. Pull up as your avatar.

Visual Alchemy by Douglas DeBoer is a spellbinding light show that will delight the eyes, enlighten the mind, and inspire the heart while you dance the night away.
Doug creates legendary video art by layering the beauty of nature, sacred geometry and mesmerizing performers, all custom mixed and perfectly timed to the music. Much of his original content was filmed during his extensive global travels and decades of experience co-creating theme party events.

You will receive the location and directions to our farm in Haiku, Maui, with your ticket purchase. Pre-order your tickets and car passes, as we only have a limited quantity available. There is no alcohol allowed on this property and this will be strictly enforced. Please do not bring pets to the land. Please plan to carpool with friends so you can arrive early and give yourself ample time to explore our orchards and gardens. Fresh and filtered drinking water is available, and we prefer you to bring your own vessel. This event is for Adults Only, 18+ with No re-entry (meaning you cannot come and go) and no entry after 8pm so please arrive before then. We dance in the Rain or Shine.
