Target Audience: For women who feel mentally “on” all day but still struggle with friction and want to strengthen daily agency: clearer priorities, faster re-entry into deep work, and less anxiety/rumination.
Speaker Information: Áine Kmen is the founder of JournalingFix. She spent the last decade in various roles inside early-stage teams and consulting for startups across the US, EU, and Brazil, gaining firsthand understanding of founding team pressure, cognitive overload, rapid decision cycles, and the mental demands of building a startup. Earlier career work with the Jane Goodall Institute and other national nonprofits taught her how to connect with audiences - from small, intimate groups to events of thousands.
Although she taught journaling workshops for years as a side passion, her interest deepened during a period of chronic health challenges. After using structured writing techniques that had a powerful impact on resolving her symptoms, she began a deep dive into the research behind why they worked and how else we could use journaling to improve our lives.
JournalingFix teaches micro-journaling techniques to train attention, regulate your nervous system, and reclaim original thinking. Modules and other resources are available online and through a weekly newsletter, and Áine provides in-person and virtual workshops and presentations.
