

📚 Natural Library
​Enjoy an afternoon of sipping tea and reading books in a natural environment!
​🍵 Self-serve free tea will be available all event. We'll also be offering gongfucha sessions (aka tea ceremonies) at 2pm and 4pm in the gazebo (FCFS).
​📚 Free books will be available for browsing and borrowing. We'll bring a curated selection of urban ecology and environmentally-focused books. This will also be the debut of The Tea Stand Library, our new book-borrowing program!
​Important Notes:
​Tea & book donations will be accepted but not expected
​There is a porta-potty available in the garden
​Free with suggested $5-10 donation. Donations will be split between The Tea Stand and Green Oasis Community Garden.
​About The Tea Stand:
​The Tea Stand is a community project which serves free tea at public parks, food distributions, and neighborhood events around Brooklyn. We serve free tea and host free events to create accessible spaces for people to connect with their neighbors, themselves, and the natural world. More info here!

​Green Oasis & Gilbert’s Sculpture Garden is a volunteer-run community garden in the East Village. At the garden, neighbors come together to steward our urban ecosystem and organize free events related to the arts, theater, and more. More info here!
