Your Fertility Matters: A Sip & Shop Event with M.M.LaFleur and RESOLVE
About the Event
Too often, women learn about infertility only after they're already in the thick of it. This National Infertility Awareness Week®, RESOLVE: The National Infertility and Family Building Association and M.M.LaFleur are bringing the conversation upstream. Join us at M.M.LaFleur's Bryant Park Showroom for a panel discussion featuring experts and women who have been there to help empower you on your family building journey.
Our panel will include Danielle Melfi, CEO of RESOLVE, Dr. Janet Choi, Chief Medical Officer of Progyny, Amy Divaraniya, founder and CEO of Oova, and moderator Kristyn Hodgdon, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Rescripted — followed by networking, styling, and shopping, with 10% of sales benefiting RESOLVE.
Meet Our Panelists
Danielle Melfi, CEO of RESOLVE
Danielle Melfi is the CEO of RESOLVE: The National Infertility and Family Building Association, the nation’s oldest and largest patient advocacy organization for the infertility and family building community. RESOLVE provides evidence-based information and emotional support to those navigating infertility, and advocates to protect and expand access to family building care for everyone who needs it. Prior to RESOLVE, Danielle served as the Chief People Officer at the White House, overseeing benefits for 2,000+ White House employees. She has advanced bipartisan policy changes at the state and federal level to support women and families, including reducing the cost of child care and prescription drugs.
Danielle was motivated to freeze her eggs after Alabama’s Supreme Court temporarily blocked IVF access. She is dedicated to expanding access to all those hoping to build a family, including those facing infertility, LGBTQ+ families, and single parents by choice. Danielle lives in Washington, DC with her rescue dog, Jersey.
Dr. Janet Choi
Dr. Janet Choi serves as Chief Medical Officer at Progyny, leading the company’s clinical strategy to elevate the standard of care for women and families, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, coordinated care across the family building and women’s health continuum. She is a double board‑certified reproductive endocrinologist and OB/GYN with more than three decades of clinical and leadership experience. Before joining Progyny, she served as Medical Director at CCRM New York and held key roles at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Choi is a nationally recognized expert in fertility preservation, onco‑fertility, and reproductive aging, and has been honored as a Castle Connolly “Top Doctor” and a New York Magazine Top Doctor. She earned her A.B. from Harvard, her M.D. from Columbia, and completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Weill Cornell.
Amy Divaraniya
Dr. Amy Divaraniya is the Founder and CEO of Oova, a groundbreaking women’s health company redefining how hormone health is measured and managed. With a decade of experience as a data scientist specializing in genomics and biomarker discovery, she brings a rare blend of scientific expertise and personal mission to her work. After facing her own fertility challenges, Dr. Divaraniya left her career in precision medicine to create the solution she wished existed.
That solution became Oova: the first at-home test to measure multiple hormones through urine and deliver real-time, clinically backed insights into fertility and perimenopause. Today, Oova is trusted by over 500 clinics and hospitals across the U.S. and is helping thousands of women gain clarity and control over their hormonal health.
Dr. Divaraniya has been recognized as one of Crain’s New York Business’ Notable Leaders in Healthcare and is a leading voice at the intersection of diagnostics, technology, and women’s health. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, CBS News, and Business Insider.
Kristyn Hodgdon
Kristyn Hodgdon is the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Rescripted, a women's health media and technology platform reaching up to 20 million women each month. A writer and advocate, she has built her career making complex health information accessible — because the alternative is leaving women to navigate a Wild West of misinformation on their own.
She's also been through it herself. Kristyn lives with PCOS, has experienced pregnancy loss, and conceived all three of her kids through IVF. She knows what it feels like to sit with a diagnosis you don't fully understand, to search for answers at midnight, and to wish someone would just tell you the truth. That experience shapes everything she does — from the stories she tells to the platform she's built to meet women with the information they need, when they need it most.
