The Social Good Walking Tour of Central Oxford
Host: Ab Brightman
Join this unique two hour walking tour visiting and explore some of central Oxford’s diverse social enterprises. There’ll be a chance to see delicious social good food and coffee businesses, community art and repair spaces and even pioneering ethical fashion - before ending with a chance to grab a purposeful drink in the covered market.
This tour will give us a deeper awareness of the fantastic array of spaces and services offered by our local social enterprises, and you’ll also be able to make connections and be inspired by the thriving organisations, including Tap Social, Yellow Submarine and Y.O.U Underwear, themselves.
About your tour lead
Hi, I’m Ab Brightman. I studied, live and work locally, running a small business using service design, facilitation and filmmaking to further social change. I love bringing people together, and sharing the best of our city!
Please note that due to the environment of Oxford, it may not be possible to meet all accessibility needs and some of our tour stops are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
If you know that you cannot make the full two hours of the tour please free up the space for others.
This session has a strict capacity of 20.
