Trekking in the Wild
Rafflesian Business Network (RBN) Trekking session.
Warning: This trek has significant elevation changes and steep steps to climb and steep slopes to descend. Please be aware of your physical abilities before joining this trek.

Come in T-shirts of green or black or white or mix of these 3, for easy identification and sense of bonding.
We will embark on a 5.5km return loop from Hillview MRT via Dairy Farm Nature Park and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

For this trek, we will be doing the approximately 5.5km Dairy Farm - Bukit Timah Loop. Starting at Hill View MRT we will traverse through Dairy Farm Nature Park heading towards Wallace Trail. From there, we will head up towards Bukit Timah peak. This section of the route has many steep steps with an elevation change of almost the height of Bukit Timah Hill. Once at the peak, we will take a group photograh and then take the downward slope towards the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve visitor centre. There is an opportunity to end the trip here for those wanting to head to Beauty World MRT station. For the rest, we will walk along the Rail Corridor towards Rail Mall and starting point where we will end the trip and have a late breakfast session.
Please consider wearing a broad-brim hat, long sleeves and long pants, and wear a comfortable pair of shoes that grip well. Alternatively, please utilise sunscreen. UV levels in Singapore at 8.30am start very low but will increase significantly over the following two hours. Bring refreshments; there are no vending machines once we reach the wilderness. Vending machines are usually operating at Dairy Farm Car Park 'B'.
Meeting/Departure Point:
Hillview MRT station station control at 8.15am. We depart for the walk at 8.30am sharp with no grace period. For those driving, please park at Dairy Farm Road Car Park 'A'. We will pick you up along the way, but will not wait, so please be at the car park by the same time the rest of us depart from the MRT station - that is 8.30am.
Inclement Weather/Alternative Arrangements:
In the event of inclement weather, we will send an outreach message an hour before the start notifying you of its cancellation. If it is forecasted to rain in the morning of the event, we may also cancel the event by notifying you the day before.
If it’s just expected to drizzle, we may decide to still meet up to connect over breakfast and chill.
Post event activities:
Post-event, our hosts, in their personal capacity, will proceed for breakfast at a venue to be discussed. Feel free to join the hosts in your personal capacity for breakfast.
Group Sizes:
We limit the group size to 30 persons including hosts due to NParks regulations that require permits for more than 30 attendees. If you are bringing your family members, please 'purchase' the correct number of tickets so that we can track the numbers correctly. In case the group exceeds 30 persons on the day itself, we will split the group into smaller sizes with 5 minute departure intervals.
If you decide not to attend, please cancel your registration EARLY so that wait-listed attendees can be given the opportunity to join us.

I may be photographed or videotaped, and I irrevocably grant to Old Rafflesian Association and Rafflesian Business Network, its successors, assigns, and licensees the exclusive right and authority to use, copyright and publish my voice, picture, name, and likeness for advertising, publicity, or promotional and other purposes in connection with Old Rafflesian Association and Rafflesian Business Network in any form, including and without limitation, social media outlets, newspapers, magazines, motion pictures, game programs, audio tapes, video tapes, television broadcasts and web pages.
