Mindfulness Meditation: The Practice of Presence

Every breath is a chance to begin again. To come home to yourself.

Mindfulness Meditation is an invitation to do just that - using each inhale & exhale to come back to center - returning to the present moment - over and over again.

Meditation is not about focusing perfectly - or having no thoughts at all, but about gently returning your attention when the mind begins to wander. Over time, this practice can strengthen your focus, increase self-awareness, and help you respond to life more intentionally.

In this 1-hour guided, breath-based mindfulness meditation experience, you’ll learn how to settle the mental chatter and return to the present moment with greater ease. You’ll learn what mindfulness is, the different tools used in a mindfulness practice, and how to incorporate these tools into your daily life.

In a world that constantly pulls our attention outward, this class offers space to pause, reset, and come back to yourself.

No experience necessary. Come as you are.

What to bring: Feel free to bring anything that will help you feel comfortable - cozy layers, a water bottle, a journal, or anything else that supports you in settling into the experience.

Length of time: The class will be approximately 1 hour long and will include a short introductory talk, a 20-minute guided meditation practice, and time for reflection and integration.

Michelle Miller is a New York City–based mindfulness practitioner, coach, and facilitator whose work focuses on mindfulness, embodiment practices, nervous system regulation, and healthy relationship dynamics supporting greater presence, clarity, self-awareness, and connection.
