Miami with Bordeaux

​Bordeaux was recently hit by devastating wildfires. The catastrophic wildfires in the Gironde region near Bordeaux scorched over 100,000 acres (42,000 hectares) of pine forest and forced the emergency evacuation of roughly 220,000 people. The erratic mega-fire destroyed around 240 homes—leaving villages like Le Porge in ruins—and threatened the world-famous Bordeaux wine economy with severe smoke taint.
