The HMS Summer Mahj Passport
A flexible way to play this summer, without losing the full-table experience that makes HMS what it is.
Here’s how it works:
Your pass includes 6 or 8 Open Play Sessions to use in June through August
All open play sessions are pre-registered
Mahjong is still played in full tables, with the same thoughtful groupings and flow
HMS will host open play multiple times per week (evening + daytime), with a weekly open play session that will rotate based on member availability and demand. (Keep your eyes peeled for an opportunity for input!)
Each Summer Access pass also doubles as your HMS Summer Mahj Passport.
Throughout the summer, you’ll be able to collect stamps and track your play; whether that’s attending sessions, trying new lines, having the highest monthly score, or hitting your first mahjong of the night.
It’s a creative, low-pressure way to stay engaged and connected, with some surprises you can win along the way to add to the fun.
Most June dates are now live, and additional dates will continue to be released before and throughout the summer. I'm looking to add at least one (if not two) more day during the week that meets the schedules that don't fit any of the planned times.

Summer Access Passport (6 plays): $185
Early Bird: $175 for the first 20 passes
Ultimate Summer Access Passport (8 plays): $225
Early Bird: $215 for the first 10 passes
If you’re planning to play this summer, this is the easiest way to stay in it, without feeling locked into a weekly schedule. You must register for any open play session you wish to attend. Details on how to register will be sent following your purchase.
I’m keeping spots intentionally limited to ensure the experience is fun and flexible for those who grab a HMS Summer Passport.

Important Notes
All players must bring a 2026 National Mah Jongg League card
Table seating will be curated based on comfort level
All seats are pre-registered; this is not drop-in play
If life happens (which it does), please provide notice so we may offer your seat. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will result in a forfeited play. Mahjong is a game of four, and each seat matters; this policy helps ensure full tables and the best experience for everyone.
