Join us for our first-ever Bay Area Neighborhood Exploration - a three-hour culinary, cultural, and photo adventure through Berkeley in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Led by Bay Area local Robin DeGracia, we’ll explore Telegraph Avenue through international flavors, public art, local history, and playful photo challenges. This isn’t your typical walking tour. It’s an opportunity to discover a neighborhood through a global lens while connecting with fellow travelers and community members.
WHAT WE’LL EXPERIENCE
🌮 Kick off with an authentic Mexican street taco
🎨 Explore “A People’s History of Telegraph Avenue,” a vibrant mural reflecting the neighborhood’s history
📸 Complete interactive photo scavenger hunt challenges at Berkeley landmarks

MEET YOUR HOST
Robin Elizabeth DeGracia is a Honduran and Puerto Rican traveler, Bay Area local, founder of Around the World with Kids, and author of Raising World Travelers While Staying Sane. She is excited to welcome the Latino World Travelers familia and share some of Berkeley’s food, history, art, and global influences.

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so the group can begin promptly at 11:00 AM. Additional food, beverages, transportation, parking, and personal purchases are not included.
