Beacon Fire Tower & Fishkill Farms
After being smoked AND rained out last weekend, we're adding Beacon back to the hiking calendar!! We'll start with a hike up to Beacon Fire Tower and end with an optional farm fresh lunch at the neighboring Fishkill Farms.

✨ Itinerary
8:30am: Meet @ Grand Central Terminal to check-in & catch the 8:56am Metro North train (if you miss the train, we will not be able to wait for you - please do not be late!)
10:28am: Arrive at Beacon Station and rideshare to the trailhead (HERE).
1:30pm: Afterwards, feel free to grab a bite to eat at the picturesque Fishkill Farms (20min Uber away) or explore Beacon.
3:42pm: Catch the train back to Grand Central (there’s typically one every 60 min if you want to head back earlier/later).
What to Bring: 1-2 L water, snacks, comfortable hiking shoes, & a hat or SPF!

Rideshare cost from Beacon train station to the trailhead
Not included: round-trip train tickets to Beacon ($15 each way), rideshare cost to Fishkill Farms, or lunch

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Due to the small group size and the upfront commitment of guide staffing we have a strict cancellation policy for day hikes.
48hrs+ before your trip: Receive a 75% refund.
Less than 48hrs before your trip: No refunds.
If Girls Gone Hiking cancels the trip due to unsafe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will have the option to transfer their registration to another available weekend or receive a full refund.
Can I arrange my own transportation instead?
You're welcome to meet the group at the designated Mount Beacon trailhead if that's more convenient for you. However, the trip price remains $35 regardless of whether you use the provided transportation since it mostly goes towards our guides.
Is this trip dog-friendly?
Not for this trip since the trail is a bit steeper and rideshare may make bringing a dog tricky!
