​What does heritage shape beyond identity?

​For many creatives, it shapes taste, style, confidence, storytelling, and the way we move through the world. Through Our Lens is a reflective brunch and guided conversation exploring how cultural heritage influences creative practice, hosted as part of Asian Heritage Week 2026.

​Hosted by three Australian-Asian founders, the morning begins with honest conversations around identity, creativity, and personal experience, before opening into a collaborative discussion with the group.

​Expect matcha, small bites, thoughtful tablescaping by By Mesa Studio, and a warm, community-led atmosphere designed for connection.

​This is a not-for-profit community event created to celebrate Asian heritage and shared experiences. Ticket costs will go towards venue hire and catering only.

​Tickets are limited to 30 guests to keep the experience intimate. Whether you’re Asian, Asian-Australian, or simply someone who feels connected to the conversation as ally, we’d love to have you there. Location TBC, Brisbane metro area.
