CAIA - a therapist-led gathering in London, for people craving realness. 22 August.
The small talk ends here.
Let me guess: full life, plenty of people around, and still no one really knows you.
So I built a room that fixes that.
What is CAIA?
CAIA runs small social gatherings guided by a registered psychotherapist - so a room of 15 strangers skips the small talk and actually connects. The depth of therapy, the warmth of a dinner party. None of the awkward bits of either.
Who's holding it:
I'm Michelle - ten years in big tech, years of therapy that changed my life, and I left to build the thing I couldn't find. Holding the room is Kelly Field: UKCP-accredited, BACP-registered psychotherapist, and the best therapist I've ever sat across from. That part is non-negotiable.
Your afternoon:
Drinks and a warm welcome → conversation guided by Kelly → simple exercises in pairs and small groups → a grounding practice → then you stay and actually talk.
What you'll walk away with:
Conversations that went somewhere real. A nervous system that's actually calm. A grounding practice you'll keep using. And usually: numbers exchanged, plans made, people you want to see again. You'll leave lighter, and actually known.
The part you're wondering about:
No one makes you share - plenty of people mostly listen their first time. And come alone; almost everyone does.
One theme per gathering (you vote when you book)
– loneliness in a busy city & belonging
– boundaries & people-pleasing
– dropping the mask
– your inner critic & self-worth
– navigating change & direction
