Building Healthy Black Communities Through Equity and Empowerment Symposium

​This full-day event is designed to strengthen African American health and wellness in New Mexico by addressing the Social Determinants of Health— the social, economic, and environmental factors that shape quality of life. The Symposium will expand access to preventive care, encourage informed decision-making, and enrich the network of support available to Black residents. Attendees will be able to receive health screenings, dental assessments, nutrition guidance, and workforce or education resources, all provided through culturally responsive service providers committed to community well-being.
