WĒRF RØDEO // Kitesurf Training Event
READ THE SEA. RIDE THE KICKER.
We're dropping a new training event on the Dutch coast: WERF Kitesurf Training Team is teaming up with Michiel Schipper from the Space X Kitesurfing crew. The North Sea doesn't hand out ramps. You have to learn to find them.
The concept is simple: how much can you improve at reading the water and launching off it?
This is about spotting the kicker before it arrives, timing the wave, and turning the North Sea from a chaos into your playground.
THE SETUP
Theory First: We kick off onshore with a briefing. How to recognise a kicker, how waves form and break, and what the North Sea is telling you before you even touch the water.
Then, Action: Time to put it into practice on the water, applying what you just learned in real conditions.
All Levels Welcome: Whether you're chasing your first jumps or your next big send, there's something here for you.
Michiel On The Shore: Michiel will be on the beach, watching your lines, calling the sets, and coaching you in real time.
The Challenge: Who improves the most, reads the kickers best, and sends their jumps the most vertical?
The Reward: A WERF prize goes to the rider who shows the sharpest read and the biggest progress.
The only real competition is who you were before you hit the first kicker. Read it. Send it. Ride it.
COSTS
The event cost is 20€ per person.
This will cover the coach costs and community running costs.
You will help the flame staying alive, and I cannot be more thankful than this.

PARTICIPATION & LIABILITY
Kitesurfing is an action sport with real risks, including injury, equipment damage and, in the worst case, more serious accidents. The North Sea adds its own challenges: strong wind, waves, currents and changing conditions.
By joining RODEO, you confirm that:
You take part at your own risk and take full responsibility for your own safety, your equipment and your decisions on the water.
You are physically fit and have the skill level needed to take part. If you're unsure about a session or a condition, you sit it out.
You use your own gear and safety equipment (helmet, impact vest and leash are strongly recommended).
Trainers and coaches give advice, but they are not responsible for your riding.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WERF, its organisers, partners and coaches are not liable for any injury, loss, damage or accident, whether to people or to property, that happens before, during or after the event.
See you on the shore. Let's rodeo.
