It's a Bird Jam!
Celebrate fall bird migration with Windy City Bird Lab at our first BBQ Funraiser Party on August 16th from 2–8 pm!
And yes, it’s also the Anti-Air & Water Show. After the Silver-bellied Gas Gusslers are done flying over the lake, celebrate the birds that use Chicago's aerial habitat!
We’ll have music and DJ sets from @sherellbee, @ocelomaitl, and @pedrito.cacheton. We're bringing the food and games;, you bring the vibes! Check out our space with an open house, and win a DANCE BIRDS trophy in our dress-like-a-bird costume contest! Come dressed in your favorite bird-themed fit and/or your best make-up--bonus points if you show up as a bird native to Illinois.
A suggested $10–$15 donation will support bird research and education at Windy City Bird Lab, but all are welcome, and no one will be turned down. If you can’t make it to the party, you can still support the Bird Lab! Check the link in our bio or scan the QR code for more details.
