Join Climate Finance Solutions for an expert briefing of the Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) Instrument's 2025-2027 investment calls, with €176M in EU funding for interregional innovation in digital, green transition, and smart manufacturing.

Programme structure

Strand 1 (shared or complementary smart specialisation areas) Support for interregional innovation consortia strengthening EU value chains and integrating less developed regions.

Strand 2a (less developed region value chains) Support for creating new value chains and integrating less developed region actors into pan-European chains.

Strand 2b (capacity building) Strengthened regional innovation ecosystems in less developed regions to develop and scale interregional business cases. Deadline already closed (19 March 2026).
