Sundial Reading Series
Poet Ben Gucciardi hosts a new reading series at Local Economy. Up first, poets will read to benefit the non-profit, Refugee and Immigrant Transitions. Sundial hopes to invite in those both inside and outside the literary worlds.
For this first edition, Gucciardi will be joined by Zeina Hashem Beck, Armen Davoudian, and Chris Feliciano Arnold.
Beck is the author of the collection O, which won the 2023 Arab American Book Award for Poetry. Davoudian is the author of the poetry collection The Palace of Forty Pillars, which was long-listed for the National Book Critics Circle Award in Poetry. Arnold is the author of The Third Bank of the River, a sweeping investigation into crime and corruption on the Amazon.
After the session Lauren Markham will lead a Q&A with the authors.
