After the pilots: where enterprise AI actually breaks
A private dinner for a dozen financial services leaders who hold the AI mandate in Singapore: chief AI officers, chief data officers, heads of AI, transformation leads. The dinner is hosted by Outsized.
Everyone has run the pilots. Most have a win or two.
The question for the table is where it actually breaks:
Strategy. An enterprise plan, or a collection of experiments
Capability. You know what you need, but can't find, assess or build it
Execution. It works in theory, then dies against legacy systems before anyone can prove the ROI
Three voices open the evening, each bringing different practitioners perspectives.
Grace Park. Grace has been in the data, advanced analytics and AI field for the past 10 years, with a special focus on driving adoption and tangible results. She has extensive experience in banking and insurance, most recently as Group Chief Data and Advanced Analytics/AI Officer at Prudential plc and before that Chief Analytics Officer at Manulife.
Matthias Hendrichs. Matthias ran Apple's App Store Commerce & Services in APAC and now leads APAC for Pit, a Swedish, a16z-backed enterprise AI company. He invests personally in and advises frontier labs including OpenAI and Anthropic, and comments on AI for CNBC, the FT and Nikkei Asia.
Jayant Raman. Jayant is a Partner at Oliver Wyman and Head of AI Partnerships for Asia Pacific, leading the firm's relationships with the frontier AI labs and hyperscalers and how those capabilities are put to work inside the region's major enterprises. He built his career in Financial Services strategy and large-scale transformation, and his current focus is what it takes to move AI from pilots into the core of how institutions operate.

Three short openers, around ten minutes each, no decks.
Open discussion over dinner, under the Chatham House rule (ie no attribution outside the room).
One table, a dozen guests.
Nothing to prepare, nothing recorded, no photos of the table.
The venue, a private dining room in central Singapore, will be shared with confirmed guests nearer the date.
