About Event

Neurotribe Talks is a 1-hour community space for neurodivergent people and people who may be neurodivergent or are exploring that possibility. It’s a place to come together, listen, reflect, and talk honestly about real life - without pressure, judgement, or needing to have everything figured out.

These sessions are not a therapy group, and they are not led by a psychologist. They are open, accessible conversations shaped by the community, with a clear theme and a gentle structure so everyone knows what to expect. You are welcome whether you want to speak, listen quietly, or simply be present.

I’m Emilia, founder of Neurotribe, and I’m a late-diagnosed woman myself. Neurotribe grew out of lived experience and the wish to create something more human, more honest, and more welcoming than many of the spaces currently available. I know what it can feel like to come to neurodivergence later in life, to look back with new understanding, and to want a space where all of that can be held with care.

These talks are designed to be clear, inclusive, and easy to access. There is no expectation to be articulate, confident, or experienced enough. You do not need a diagnosis to attend, and you do not need to share personal details unless you want to. The aim is to create a calm, respectful space where people can learn, connect, and feel less alone.

Topic for this talk:
Parenthood and neurodivergence
A session for neurodivergent parents, or people navigating parenthood while learning about their own neurodivergence. This can include routines, sensory overload, guilt, support, and making family life work in a way that is sustainable.

Why this feels different
Neurotribe Talks is not designed to feel polished in a corporate way or clinical in a therapy way. It is meant to feel real, grounded, and welcoming enough for people to arrive as they are. The structure keeps it easy to join, while the conversational format keeps it human.

It is also shaped by lived experience, not just theory. The focus is not on fixing people, but on making space for honest conversation, practical reflection, and a sense of belonging.
