RSDandMe - Navigating Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) and Tools for Emotional Regulation
If you work in User Experience (UX) you know how it feels to expend significant creative energy only to meet rejection, dismissal, or worse.
Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) can be defined as, "extreme emotional sensitivity to perceived rejection, criticism, or failure"
It's also been defined as, "I'll do whatever you want me to just don't get upset at me please"
This is particiularly notable in the Neurodivergent ADHD brain. Again...the good news is that it's not you and everybody really isn't mad at you for that thing you said/did.
This is again a neuroscience problem that is due to your brain is different (and that's okay).
In this episode Amie and Leo talk abourt navigating RSD through daily life and provide some science-backed advice/tools for emotional regulation.
