Shaping the Future of Groundwater Resilience: A Global Dialogue

​Join the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) for an informal breakfast dialogue on the margins of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) to discuss the importance of groundwater resilience and opportunities to elevate groundwater within the broader global water agenda ahead of the UN-Water Conference.

​Shaping the Future of Groundwater Resilience: A Global Dialogue will bring together member states, civil society, and other key stakeholders for a focused exchange on groundwater resilience, the role of groundwater in achieving SDG 6, and possible pathways for building greater visibility and commitment on groundwater in the lead-up to the UN-Water Conference in December 2026.

​The event will feature networking, light breakfast refreshments, and collaborative discussion on building a global community of practice for groundwater sustainability.
