Sound Bath @ Unit 120
āVibes & Tea š¶šµ
āCome do nothing but exist, then stay for tea. No experience needed, no pressure to talk about anything, just a chance to receive some good energy and share space with familiar faces.
āWhat are sound baths?
āThey are immersive experiences where waves of sound wash over you. That's why they call it a bath ā no water involved! Gongs have been used for thousands of years across cultures for meditation, ceremony, and healing. Today, gong baths are used for relieving stress and anxiety, and simply helping people unwind.
āHow does it work?
āYou lie down, close your eyes, and let the sound do the work as the harmonics effortlessly take your mind into a meditative state. By the end, you'll feel supremely relaxed, calm, and happy. Think of it like a massage for your anxious or busy mind.
āHow do I prepare?
āI have mats, but feel free to bring your own if you'd prefer, along with anything else that helps you get comfortable ā a pillow, a light blanket, an eye mask. Wear comfortable clothing, even your pajamas if you like!
āHow much is it?
āConsider this is a gift from me to our community. Payment is not expected. However, if you are more comfortable paying then you can.
āA little about me
āI used to be a strategy consultant with an MBA from London Business School. During the pandemic, I pivoted to become a yoga teacher. ln my first year of teaching, lululemon invited me to be an ambassador. Along the way, I picked up the gongs, which just came naturally to me, and I was later named among the "Best Sound Baths in London" by CondĆ© Nast Traveller. After 25 years away between NYC and London, I'm back in California to be closer to family. These days I'm spending my time integrating all the different parts of me: business, wellness, and being of force for positive change in people and society. I look forward to learning more about you!
āAnd then, tea.
āBecause a good gathering doesn't end the second the last gong fades. Stick around, chat with your neighbors, or just sit quietly with your tea. Whatever feels good.
āCome as you are.
