Game night is back, and this time it's for the kinfolk!
We're bringing together good people, good energy, a little friendly competition, and plenty of room for mischief.
Join us for an all-Black game night & play party centered on connection, curiosity, and grown folks having a good time. We'll kick things off with classic games, icebreakers, and some not-so-innocent activities designed to get everyone mingling, laughing, flirting, and maybe stepping a little outside their comfort zones.
As the night unfolds, the games might get a little spicier, the connections a little closer, and the possibilities a little more interesting.
Whether you're coming to make new friends, explore your playful side, or simply enjoy being in a room full of beautiful Black people, there's space for you here.
A few things to know:
This is an intentional space exclusively for Black adults.
Come ready to mingle, participate, and meet new people.
This is a sex-positive, kink-friendly gathering. Curiosity is welcome, and experience is not required.
Consent is everything. All activities are optional, boundaries are respected, and no one is expected to engage in physical or sexual play.
This is a private, RSVP-only gathering. Respect for everyone's privacy and comfort is essential.
Come for the games. Stay for the company. And don't play too much... unless you want to.
*This space is intentionally for folks who identify as Black and have a shared experience of moving through the world as Black people. We welcome the diversity of Black identities, cultures, and experiences across the diaspora, including those of mixed heritage.
IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST FWB PLAY EVENT
Purchase a ticket at least 72 hours prior to the event.
Your credit card will be authorized and you will receive an automated email with links to fill out an application and schedule a 15 minute interview. You must complete both your application and interview before being approved for an event.
Once we approve your RSVP, your credit card will be charged. If you're not approved, we'll cancel your RSVP and your credit authorization will be removed.
Unapproved guests will be turned away at the door.
CO-PLAY MINIMUMS
Co-play events are crowdfunded by attendees. To approve this event, we must meet a minimum of 10 RSVPs and $750 dollars in ticket sales. All tickets are on a sliding scale at check-out. We'll announce in our newsletter how much is left to go.

LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY
We host our in-person events at our Clubhouse in the Historic Core of DTLA.
The building is ADA accessible. There is an elevator. Note for people with wheelchairs, canes, other walking assistance devices: the tile of the lobby floor is uneven so be careful navigating, and the bathroom is not ADA compliant.
This is a low-scent event: no perfume, cologne, or essential oils. The Clubhouse is no-shoe space. When you enter, please leave your shoes on the shoe rack by the front door. If you need an exemption, please email accessibility@fwb.events.
PARKING
There are paid lots, garages, and street parking within a block of the loft. We will send out additional information once your RSVP is confirmed.
SAFTEY IN DTLA
Please be mindful of your surroundings when arriving and leaving. Many of us are longtime downtown residents and have never personally had an issue walking around at night, but DTLA is full of interesting characters from all walks of life, especially on weekends. We love our community and ask that you're respectful of everyone you encounter.
COMMUNITY HEALTH & SAFETY
COVID, Cold, and Flu: We recommend all attendees test for COVID before you arrive. No need to send results - we trust you. If you are feeling sick, were recently exposed to someone who is sick, or test positive, we ask that you stay home to help us keep our community safe and healthy and we will credit you for a future event.
We provide face masks and hand sanitizer at the clubhouse. We run air purifiers during and between events. While we take all the precautions we can to be covid safe, this is ultimately an event with risk of infection. If you are higher risk of infection or adverse effects for covid or other illnesses, we encourage you to err on the side of caution.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
We do not offer refunds if you cancel or change your reservation. In some cases, we do offer event credits. Contact cancel@fwb.events if you:
Need to cancel or change your reservation. Please let us know 48 hours prior to an event, and we will credit you for a future event.
If you are sick, were recently exposed to someone who has covid, or tested positive. Let us know ~2 hours prior to an event start, and we will credit you for a future event.
We offer refunds if we cancel an event for any reason. We'll send out a cancellation email. Attendees who wish to receive a refund for their ticket purchase will need to respond within 7 days of the cancelled event. All other tickets will receive a credit for a future event.
