A Somatic Journey of Self-Acceptance in Burnout
Burnout prevention and recovery ask us to recognize and respect our limits. Yet, we often keep pushing ourselves, even when trying to recover. What if recovery starts with slowing down and accepting where we are right now?
In this guided session, Soroosh Poorgholi, somatic therapist and experience designer, will guide us through a journey of self-acceptance. Through music, somatic movement, and breathwork, we'll reconnect with our bodies and rediscover our inherent sense of dignity.
🌿 What to expect:
A gentle grounding to arrive and feel safe
Techniques to shift from thoughts to bodily sensations
Practices to strengthen self-acceptance
Building a "resilience anchor", a calm place within you that you can return to anytime
An optional open space after the session to stay, connect, and share with others
✨ What to bring:
A mat or something soft to sit or lie on
Comfortable clothing you can move in
A journal, if you like to write
